Dr Daddy Mata, Phd

Dr. Daddy Mata is a radiologist with unique cross-appointments at Dalhousie University in Canada and the University of Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). He is the founder of “Lundi Parlons Radiology,” a platform designed to advance radiology knowledge across Africa. With extensive training in the DRC, Japan, and Canada, Dr. Mata is deeply committed to bridging healthcare disparities by promoting telemedicine, tele-education, and teleradiology. His initiatives, such as a popular weekly Zoom-based radiology teaching platform and a YouTube channel, have reached thousands of healthcare professionals across Africa. As a candidate for the ISFTeH Board of Directors, he seeks to expand these efforts to improve healthcare access in developing regions, particularly through telemedicine programs in the DRC and beyond.
